A Finished Basement in Littleton, CO

This Littleton family had a big, unfinished basement and a wish list to match. They wanted a true lower-level retreat: somewhere to watch movies, work out, host friends, and put up guests, all in one finished space.

We planned the level into clear zones. A tiered home theater with leather recliners and a projector screen sits at the heart of it. Nearby, a wet bar with a blue tile backsplash and a beverage fridge keeps snacks and drinks close to the action.

A dedicated gym area handles the treadmills and free weights, and a game room fits a foosball table and shuffleboard. For guests, we added a comfortable bedroom, a full bathroom with a frameless glass shower and blue tile, and a walk-in closet.

What was cold concrete is now the most-used level of the house, finished end to end with warm carpet, recessed lighting, and a layout built for how the family actually lives.
